Written in 2019 when a lot of bad shit was happening. Ronald Dump pulled us out of the Iran Nuclear Deal, had announced plans to pull out of the Paris Climate Accord, sucked off Kim Jung Un, gave Putin a bunch of dry handjobs, and the only positive development we've had as a species tackling climate change is Greta Thunberg.
There are conspiracy theories out there about an ancient race of aliens called Sumerians who essentially used us as minions to foster a utopian society on this planet, but when these devastating floods threatened the planet, they booked it and left us here on our own. If they're out there, or any other alien lifeforms have their eyes on us, I hope we see eye to eye about what forces are on Team Evil and who's on Team Alright down here on Planet Earth.
lyrics
Sumeria, where are ya? cuz I might need somewhere to crash
Does it look like we fucked up? I kinda think that we fucked up
And we're throwin' the whole planet in the trash
And I know you left us once before
But that was floods and this is war
And I don't wanna fight no more
Sumeria, I can't blame ya, if you left us here to figure our shit out
But one last time, I implore ya,
if there was a time to step in that time's now
And I know you left us once before
But now we're on the brink of war
And I don't wanna do this anymore more
But we've never had this chance before
And we'll never get this chance again
So let me say just one thing to you, then:
Where all else fails, courtesy prevails
